Can You Give Us A Little Background On The Project?      

We purchased this house last year, the entire house needed updating almost everything was original to 1979. The kitchen was small and cramped so we needed to remove a wall and reconfigure the layout. We had done a kitchen remodel in our last home so we had purchased online cabinets before and we knew we would buy online again.

From Where Did You Gain Your Inspiration?

Most of our inspiration came from magazines and DIY shows,I knew I wanted white cabinets in this house but I didn't want the typical Shaker style I see in every white kitchen. Shaker is timeless but I wanted something different.

What Made You Decide To Work With Prime Cabinetry?

We looked at reviews and testimonials from about four different online cabinet stores and decided to order four-door styles from two different companies. Prime Cabinetry had one of the highest customer ratings we found. After receiving our door samples I fell in love with the Columbia Antique White and felt confident that we were purchasing high-quality cabinets that would look great and last for years. What I really like about Prime Cabinetry is the quality of the product. Our cabinets are solid wood, they were easy to assemble and we saved about $8,000.00 by purchasing from Prime Cabinetry over the big box stores. If we would have purchased from a big box store I wouldn't have been able to purchase my dream cabinets because other company prices for just the cabinets exceeded our entire kitchen remodel budget.

What Advice Would You Give Someone Who Is Just Beginning Their Remodeling Journey?

Make a list of what you want in your kitchen and use the design team to help you achieve your dream kitchen. And be prepared to eat out while it's under construction! It's all worth it in the end.

What Do You Enjoy Most About Your New Kitchen/Bath?

I love my kitchen now because we have room to cook and space for everything. I'm so glad we went with the 42" wall cabinets. It gives us so much more storage space. We also took two 24x42 cabinets, put legs on them, and stacked them in an area of wasted space in the kitchen as a way to create a built-in pantry. It added style and extra storage space for appliances. I also enjoy the large pull out drawers that house all of my baking equipment.

This kitchen is a classic and timeless renovation that anyone could love! Prime Cabinetry is pleased to see how Tammy truly transformed her kitchen into her own personal oasis.
